Community Health Forum to be Held this Week.
Please join representatives from the Pawnee County Health Department for updates and presentations regarding COVID-19 and community efforts to prevent and mitigate the spread of disease in the community. The public health forum is scheduled for Thursday, March 19th at the Pawnee Women’s Building, 510 Memorial Road, Pawnee, beginning at 5:30 pm.
The 2019 novel coronavirus infection, also known as COVID-19, is a respiratory infection caused by a new virus that was first identified in late 2019.
Common symptoms can include fever, cough and shortness of breath.
If you have symptoms and are at high risk, you should call your health care provider. Tell them about your symptoms and recent travel before visiting their office.
While there is currently no vaccine, the best way to protect yourself from COVID-19 is similar to how you’d take precautions against the cold or flu. This includes:
• Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
• Stay home when you are sick.
• Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
We are working with Pawnee County Emergency Management to get a meeting set up in Cleveland at a later date.

The City immediately contacted the State Health Department and is following their recommendations to protect the health of the two employees and to protect the public. Because of privacy rights under HIPPA, the City is unable to comment further. As it is able, the City will release additional updates. In the meantime the City strongly encourage all citizens to follow the recommendations of the CDC regarding social distancing, sanitation and hand washing. |

| Water Rationing | Hello Cleveland...We have had a few calls asking about water rationing. At this time, we are not under mandatory water rationing, but that could change if we don't get some rain to fill up the City Lake. What we ARE asking consumers to do is only water during the early morning or late evening hours and to conserve as much as possible.
