Fingerprinting Program
The Cleveland Police Department offers fingerprinting services on Tuesdays from 1 to 2 pm. This service is provided to persons residing in the city limits of Cleveland or gaining employment within the city limits of Cleveland.
House Watch Program
The Cleveland Police Department's House Watch Program is designed to provide peace of mind to our residents while they are away from home for extended periods of time, whether for vacation, illness, work-related travel, or other circumstances. The Police Department will make periodic checks on your residence while it is vacant. Information you provide allows us to contact you or your designated key holder in the event that the residence may need attention.
The House Watch Program provides an overall increase in police presence around your home during your time away. Due to manpower issues and unforeseen circumstances, we cannot guarantee the safety of your home or personal property, but the Cleveland Police Department will try to schedule extra patrols around your home during your time away.
This program is a public service to help safeguard citizens' property and allow for a rapid response and owner notification in the event of a problem.
Get Registered
If you would like your property added to our House Watch list, come by the Police Department at 105 West Caddo. Street and fill out a House Watch form. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the station at (918) 358-3112.
Neighborhood Watch
The purpose of the Neighborhood Watch program is to organize neighbors and bring them together in order to make them more vigilant about what transpires in their neighborhood. Neighborhood watches help reduce the fear and incidence of crime, thus making Cleveland a safer place to live, work, and play.
It requires the assistance of citizens as additional eyes and ears in participating neighborhoods to watch for any suspicious activity and immediately report all crime and/or suspicious activity to police. If you would like to organize a neighborhood watch program in your area, please contact us at (918) 358-3112.
Senior Defense Classes
The Cleveland Police Department understands that senior citizens are frequently targeted by criminals and often unknowingly become victims of crime. Our department makes every effort to educate this sector of our population with crime information regarding fraud, scams, and other types of crimes that target seniors.
Our classes teach seniors how to recognize mail and computer fraud and how to protect themselves from criminals. The information seniors receive through these programs arm them with the knowledge they need to stay safe. If you would like more information regarding this service, contact us at (918) 358-3112.
