Reopening Plan for City of Cleveland Facilities

At this time it is the City's intent for our citizens to adhere to the Governor's Existing Executive Orders and Amendments and his Open Up and Recover Safely Plan (OURS). All State orders can be found at the Oklahoma Deparment of Commerce website at www.okcommerce.gov. These State Orders are subject to updates and revisions as the State may deem necessary for the continued safety of all Oklahomans.
Individuals should continue to adhere to State and local guidelines as well as CDC guidance regarding social distancing.

Reopening Plan for City of Cleveland Facilities
On April 22, 2020, Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt announced a three-phased approach to reopening the Oklahoma economy. It is the City of Cleveland’s intent to follow the plan announced by Governor Stitt as much as possible moving forward.
In following that plan, the City of Cleveland intends to provide public access to different City facilities. Below is an outline of the facilities, opening dates, and general guidelines. Signage will be posted at facilities as necessary to ensure proper social distancing instructions are provided.

Parks
April 23, 2020

City Hall
May 1, 2020-Open to the Public
Office hours will change to 7:30-4:30 pm. Monday-Friday (permanent change)
• 7:30 a.m.-9:00 a.m. for vulnerable population (temporary)
• Cones will be set 6 feet apart with laminated signage posted for the public designating proper social distancing.
• Once an hour cleaning.
• Maintain social distancing and limit common areas.

City Council Meetings
May 1, 2020
• City Council will resume in person meetings following social distancing guidelines.
• Location of each meeting will be determined based on applicable social distancing requirements.

Cleveland Municipal Dump
May 4, 2020
• Municipal dump will resume normal operating procedure effective Monday, May 4, 2020. We encourage all citizens to take advantage of final day free access on Friday, May 1, 2020 from 8 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Jay C. Byers Memorial Library
May 1, 2020-Building remains closed to the public due to ongoing renovation
• Curbside pickup available for all patrons Monday-Friday, 10:00a.m.-4:00p.m. only.
Customers may call in items and library staff will bring item to your car once you are in the parking lot. Please call the library once you are in the parking lot ready for pick up.
• Jay C. Byers Memorial Library phone number is 918-358-2676.
• Fines will remain suspended and will not accrue until June 6, 2020.
• Print jobs can be emailed to print@jcbyerlibrary.org Small print jobs will continue to be done at no cost.
• Grab-&-Go crafts will continue to be available through the month of May 5, 2020.

Jay C. Byers Memorial Library
May 15, 2020-Open to the Public
Library Hours-9:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday (temporary hours)
Saturday 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. (temporary hours)
• 9:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m. for vulnerable population Monday-Friday
• 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. for vulnerable population Saturday.
• Curbside pickup for elderly and at-risk patrons.
• Once an hour cleaning.
• No programming for May such as Preschool Story Time, Coloring & Coffee, and Book Club.
• Signs on chairs to implement social distancing.
• Every other computer will be available for public use (6 computers total).
• Limit the number of people in the library at any given time to meet social distancing guidelines.
• Regular hours and summer programming information will be updated as more information becomes available.

Cleveland Municipal Court
May 28, 2020
• May 28, 2020 docket to be held at Stage Center to maintain social distancing standards.

Senior Center
• Remains closed at this time and will be updated as more information becomes available.

Cleveland City Pool
• Closed-Will not open this summer.
